6th Grade Expectations, Rules, and Consequences


In my 6th grade classroom, the expectations are simple. Students must be on time and come to class prepared. They must respect their learning environment, and that of their peers.

 Ample time will be given for assignments to be completed in class, should the student choose to use their class time wisely. See below for a link to the homework policy. 

Our SPACE rules will be followed by every 6th grade student. If a student chooses to break a rule, the consequences are listed below.

Classroom Rules

S -  STAY IN YOUR SEAT, UNLESS GIVEN PERMISSION


P -   PLEASE RESPECT YOURSELF, OTHERS, AND OUR CLASSROOM! (this encompasses speaking out of turn, using supplies in an appropriate way, and not being disruptive to the students around you).

 

A -   ASSIGNMENTS IMPACT YOUR GRADES! Turn in all classwork and homework on time.


C -   COME TO CLASS PREPARED. ALL MATERIALS SHOULD BE IN CLASS BEFORE CLASS BEGINS.


E -  ENGAGE YOUR MIND. Actively PARTICIPATE in each lesson!
