We are excited to share that Valier School District #18 is rolling out Remind school wide! If you're not already familiar with Remind, it's an instant communication tool that makes it easy to stay involved with your child's school. Remind is free to use, and you'll be able to get and send text, email or voice messages on any device! Parents will receive important text or voice messages such as, 'school is cancelled due to weather' or 'buses are not running'..etc. We recommend downloading the app, but it is not required, you will still get text or email messages.
To ensure that we have accurate contact info, it is important that you update your current cell and/or home phones and emails on Student Information & Parent Sign Off form. This will be sent home with your child on the first day of school or mailed to the distance learning students. (If you signed your child/children up for sports, you have already filled out this form, no need to do another)
You should have received an email or text invite message from Remind. All you need to do is follow the steps in the message to finish setting up your account. Here is a video demo to see how Remind works.
