Plains Indian Museum Field Trip

In conjunction with Native American week, the first and third grades took a quick field trip to the Plains Indian Museum in Browning. The museum experts explained the significance of the paintings surrounding the lobby, and then we toured the rest of the museum, which included a video and guest displays from an Inuit tribe in Alaska. Finally, everyone got to make a tepee to take home!

An exciting thing that happened while we were there was that PBS TV Station was filming an episode of Backroads of Montana. We're hoping to see ourselves when that episode airs!

As always, the kids enjoyed riding the team bus, eating packed lunches, and having the privilege of using their "devices" during the bus ride.
